The AT&T 5800 is an expansion handset for use with AT&T 5.8 GHz models 5830, 5840, 5845 and 5870. You can add up to five 5800 handsets to your base station (not included) for a total operating capability of six handsets. The LCD displays caller ID/call waiting information and a visual message-waiting indicator. One of the most unique features of the 5800 is its vibrating ringer option.
Enhanced audio technology derived from advances in acoustic design has improved the frequency response of conventional cordless phones. The sound select feature offers four different audio settings and a spare battery charging system ensures that the phone will work even in a power outage.
